Battery Runtime Calculator for LED Lights
Battery capacity and power draw → estimated runtime, with usable capacity and converter losses.
Try the battery runtime calculator for led lightsAbout the name: Eyourlife (written EyourLife on this site, and often shortened to “Eyour”) is a set of free lighting calculators and guides at eyourlife.com. It covers room lumens and lux, beam angle, LED strip power supplies, watts to lumens and battery runtime.
LED lighting · Light fittings · Car lighting
Free calculators that answer practical lighting questions from the numbers on your packaging or datasheet: how many lumens a room needs, how wide a spotlight or light bar beam spreads at a distance, and how many hours a battery can run your LED lights. Each page shows its formula, units, sources and limits.

Open the toolInteractive 2700K–6500K Kelvin previewer with room recommendations for bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and home offices.
Open the toolRunning watts & backup hours → required battery capacity (Wh), surge headroom, and power station sizing.
Open the toolDevice watts + battery Wh or Ah → backup runtime, required capacity and a matching UPS or power station class.
Open the toolThe room lux calculator takes the floor area and a target illuminance (EN 12464-1 reference values are listed) and gives the total lumens needed and, if you enter one fitting’s lumens, how many fittings that takes.
The beam angle calculator gives the spot diameter from distance and beam angle, for a downlight, a spotlight or a vehicle light bar or work light, or works back to the beam angle you need.
The battery runtime calculator estimates hours from capacity (Ah, mAh or Wh), voltage and power draw, allowing for usable capacity and converter losses.
The lumens to watts calculator converts lumens to watts and compares LED, CFL, halogen and incandescent bulbs by light output, using efficacy values with their sources.
The LED strip power supply calculator adds up watts and amps for the strip length and adds the headroom you choose.
The color temperature calculator simulates 2700K (warm white) to 6500K (daylight) with a real-time preview and room recommendations for bedrooms, living rooms, and offices.
The portable power station calculator estimates running watts, peak surge power, and battery storage capacity (Wh) with inverter efficiency and safety margins for home outages and outdoor trips.
This site has no shop or product pages. For a light bar or work light you are comparing, take the beam angle and power draw from the manufacturer’s datasheet: the beam angle calculator shows how wide the light spreads at a given distance, and the battery runtime calculator estimates how long a 12 V battery could run it with the engine off. Whether a light may be used on public roads depends on the rules where you drive; check your vehicle manual and the official vehicle lighting rules (see the disclaimer).
Lumens (lm) measure the total light a lamp gives out. Lux (lx) measure how much of that light lands on a surface: one lux is one lumen per square metre. The room lux calculator links the two for a room.
No. They only calculate from the numbers you enter, such as the values on a bulb’s packaging or a datasheet. Measuring real light needs a calibrated meter.
No. Rules for vehicle lighting depend on the country and the vehicle. Check your vehicle manual and the official vehicle lighting rules where you drive.
The calculators only cover figures such as power, current and runtime. Mains electrical work should be done by a qualified electrician following the wiring rules where you live.
